Patricia is an experienced composer, musician, and teacher, steeped in classical, sacred, and old-time popular music. Her compositions are described as joyous, surprising, accessible and nuanced.

Patricia has been creating music since childhood. She writes for handbells, choir, and keyboard, and pieces for string quartet and trumpet trio. In addition to her listings in the catalogs of several publishers, she also self-publishes through SmpPress.

based in St. Paul, Minnesota

A Minnesota native, Patricia has BA, BS, and MA music degrees and a Music Therapy equivalency from the University of Minnesota. She has done further study with Alice Parker.

​Patricia has served churches in the Twin Cities area as Director of Music, Handbell and Choir Director, and Organist. She is currently Director of Music Ministries at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Oakdale, MN. She has also taught Elementary Classroom Music and private music lessons, and worked with seniors as a Music Therapist.
